32 Engaging educators

All hosting platform providers require one or more educators to be associated with an Open course. These are the ‘faces’ of the course and are often academics who have contributed to its development.

It may not be possible for educators to continue to support the course beyond the development process, but, if possible, it’s worth considering if you’re able to provide some engagement with learners, for example, by responding to their comments and posts. This involvement may require as little as one hour per week, but it could be more if you can dedicate additional time.
