37 Evaluation

Evaluation is an important part of creating and launching an Open course. At the start of the course design process, you should consider how you’ll evaluate what is working well and what could be improved in the future. Before you begin collecting data, you’ll need to seek ethical approval if you wish to engage with evaluation as a research project that explores specific experiences.

These experiences may include:

  • lived learning,
  • facilitation,
  • working in groups.

Use the table below to help you consider your stakeholders. Capture your thoughts in the right-hand column of the template to assist you in discussing and agreeing actions.
