6 Unconference

“Too often conferences are packed with papers where the presenters peak for too long and opportunities for discussion are prevented.” (Savin-Baden, 2008, 53)

Near the end of the module, we will organise an unconference, a more informal than a traditional conference event, highly participatory, to share how you imagine the future of education in your professional context inspired by what you have learnt on this module. This will help you gain confidence in presenting your work to an audience and engage with it, get feedback on your narrative in readiness for its submission for assessment. The unconference will be an open online event and anyone is welcome to join.

Our intention is to record the unconference and make it available openly also via this companion as exemplars for future generations of students.
