39 Open Educational Resources toolkit

The Discovery Delivery Group created an Open Educational Resources (OER) toolkit to enable the wider use, repurposing and adaptation of the resources within and beyond the Broadening initiative.

Following institutional recommendations about open licensing, all resources are available under the CC-BY-NC-SA licence. Please refer to the specific licence deeds to ensure compliant use of these resources.

Learner-focused approaches:

• Challenge-based scenario.
• Reflect ‘n’ learn.
• The FISh model for individual/group enquiry.
• Making groupwork work.
• Short videos (please note: the videos aren’t offered as OERs but are publicly available and can be used in future Jams).

Educator-focused approaches:

• Designing learning scenarios.
• Facilitation basics.
• Guidelines for group facilitation.
