34 Scenarios

Consider using the content in Appendix 2: Guidelines for designing learning scenarios if you plan to use a scenario as part of an enquiry-based learning approach for independent or small group learning. For example, this may include problem-based learning or challenge-based learning.

It isn’t mandatory to include a scenario. Instead, you may wish to consider different approaches to engage your participants. You can use the Jam as an opportunity for diverse individuals to collaborate on a task. For example, this may include:

  • resolving a difficulty,
  • addressing a specific challenge,
  • generating innovative new ideas.

You should decide how best to communicate your approach to participants.
